'Hello Kitty' treats the kids

One of Japan's most famous exports, the cuddly 'Hello Kitty' character, treated fans to a traditional Japanese dance lesson. The character, officially created in the suburbs of London in 1974, wore a traditional Japanese kimono to demonstrate a complex 'Buyo' dance. The organisers hope Hello Kitty can renew children's interest in traditional Japanese customs.
